When on, most of the animations and motion across the site are turned off — helpful if movement feels distracting or causes discomfort. It follows your device’s setting to begin with; this switch overrides that either way. Read the accessibility statement

A welcome note from me

Hello. I’m Man — welcome to my Studio Notes.

I’ve lived in Epsom for ten years. Married, one boy and two dogs: a sassy chihuahua and a crazy golden cocker spaniel.

I design and build websites. Brand work too, and the systems that sit behind them when a business needs it. But websites are the heart of it.

I’ve spent fourteen years in digital, most of it as a digital director in London. Good years, and big projects. The part I always came back to was the making. Being close to the work. Seeing a thing through from the first sketch to the day it goes live.

Design and development are the same job to me, not two departments passing files between them. I build every site by hand. I care about how a site moves and how it reads. The transitions, the way a page settles, the words that carry you through it. Most people never name those things, but everyone feels them. Pulling those pieces together is the part I love most. It’s also what makes a site perform for you: quick to load, easy to trust, and ready to turn a visit into an enquiry.

You work with me, start to finish. The person you brief is the person who designs it, builds it, and picks up the phone afterwards.

That’s the studio. This is where I’ll write about it.

If you’re planning a new site, or you’d like more from the one you have, get in touch.
